Every February, Listerine launches Bibig Time, an Oral Health Month campaign educating Filipinos about the benefits of having a healthy mouth.

For Bibig Time’s 2nd year, we wanted to find out if people’s mouths are ready for any challenge. To launch the campaign, we created an educational but exciting live game show with fun tests centered around oral health. We put up the event in one of Manila’s busiest malls and had real people participate. This was followed by an on-ground/online activation.

CHALLENGE 1: STRONG BITES
Open as many sunflower seeds in 30 seconds.

This challenge aims to test how strong and healthy the participants’ teeth are.

CHALLENGE 2: SAY WHAT?!
Have the host guess what you’re saying while wearing a mouthpiece.

This challenge is to check if the participants’ gums are pink and healthy.

 

Challlenge 3: Handy Mouth
Using your mouth, bring as many sticks at the base in 30 seconds.

This challenge allows the participants to show off their teeth and check for plaque.

Whatever object matches your teeth color is yours.

The whiter the participants’ teeth are, the better prize they get.

 

challenge 5 - fresh blow out
Exhale to put out the flame.

Having participants face each other, this challenge tests the freshness of their breaths.

 

challenge 6 - flavor master
Guess what you’re tasting.

Studies show that the more germs you have in your mouth, the more you’ll have a hard time tasting food. We wanted to check this by giving the participants a simple blind taste test.

 

BENEFIT HUNT

We created a different challenge on-ground and online called “Benefit Hunt”. Here, we asked people to look for all the 6 benefit icons hidden in different parts of the supermarket while our host walks around. On ground, the participant who finds all the icons first wins. Online, people can participate via Facebook Live and take screenshots of the spots where they found the icons.
